Welcome again Magnolia Park. We have missed you. 

 

Orange County Parks and Recreation formally lower the ribbon that brings this stunning eco-wonder again on-line formally. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and Orange County District 2 Commissioner Christine Moore welcomed guests to the brand new Eco-Training Middle at Magnolia Park in Apopka.

 

The park now has a state-of-the-art Eco-Training Middle with a park workplace, reception space, and an interactive show room that features audio-visual studying facilities and eco-related shows. The Eco-Training Middle grounds even have new eco-friendly pollinator gardens.

 

 

The park now features a new secured playground with state-of-the-art age-appropriate play gear, fall safety, shade sail shade construction, and benches to optimize the expertise.

 

For boaters, fishing fans, and people simply eager to benefit from the views of the lake, there’s a new boardwalk, fishing pier, and floating docks to be used by all on Lake Apopka. For the comfort of the park attendees and cyclists, alongside the newly expanded bicycle trailhead is a brand new males’s and ladies’s restroom facility. There are new paved walkways for leisurely strolling, benches for seating, and handicap entry to a brand new pavilion & renovated pavilion for picnicking and deliberate features.

 

 

There’s extra parking all through the park, together with improved entry and parking on the boat launch ramp to Lake Apopka and new EV Charging Stations.

 

Moreover at Magnolia Park, hikers and bike riders can use the 14.6-mile (29.2 miles roundtrip) Lake Apopka Loop Path. It takes you to the Lake County line. It is a good approach to have enjoyable as you camp in a single day at Magnolia Park. Tents and RVs are accepted. All campsites have fireplace rings, grills, picnic tables, lantern hangers, water, and electrical energy. Pets are allowed if correctly registered.
